HireVue connects hiring managers, recruiters, and candidates with easy-to-use Internet video technology that simplifies candidate screening and eliminates scheduling conflicts. The company is rapidly growing to meet the demand of HR departments in companies of all sizes.
Challenge:
Because of HireVue's unique value proposition and sales cycle, the company was in need of a simple but effective way to communicate their concept online. With a growing base of web traffic, HireVue was not effectively converting the traffic to their site into prospects and qualified leads. The only place for information capture was on the 'Contact Us' page and where the traffic conversion rate was less than 0.5%.
Solution:
A customized HookTour™ was created for placement on the HireVue website. A simple button inviting people to click on a short presentation was made on the top left portion of the home page, other pages, and embedded into newsletters and e-mails. HireVue and Sapha devised a strategy to provide visitors articles of value and the opportunity to sign up for a short, no obligation demonstration of their technology in return for their contact information.
Results:
The results Sapha delivered to HireVue drastically improved the way HireVue sold, marketed and qualified leads. After six months of using the HookTour along with minor website changes, HireVue quickly found itself converting an astonishing 11% of online traffic through the HookTour.
Of the traffic through the HookTour almost every person that registers is very interested in what we offer and are very qualified buyers. Before we implemented the HookTour we had perhaps one or two people per week contact us directly. Currently we get four to five leads per day. It can only go up from there.
